Bibles for Africa is a ministry initiative of Advent Hope Ministries, dedicated to placing the Word of God into the hands of people across Africa—in the languages they understand best.
Founded in 2003, Advent Hope Ministries, Inc. exists to share the everlasting gospel by providing Bibles to those who cannot afford them. Across much of Africa, countless people—regardless of their religious background—long to own a Bible but simply do not have the financial means to purchase one.
Jesus gave His followers a clear mission: “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come” (Matthew 24:14). One of the most effective ways to fulfill this commission is to place the complete Word of God into the hands of people in their own language. When individuals can read the Scriptures for themselves, they encounter the love of Christ, discover His truth, and are prepared for His soon return.
We firmly believe that a Bible in the hands of a person can transform a life, a family, and an entire community.
Our ministry extends beyond distributing Bibles. Across Africa, the devastating effects of poverty, HIV/AIDS, malaria, and other hardships have left countless children orphaned and vulnerable. Many struggle to survive on the streets, searching through garbage for food and basic necessities.
In response, Advent Hope Ministries currently operates two orphanages and four schools, providing children with a safe home, education, nutritious meals, and the opportunity to learn about Jesus. Yet the need continues to grow. Thousands more children still need help, and thousands more Bibles are waiting to be placed into eager hands.
Together, we can bring both hope for today and hope for eternity—one Bible, one child, and one life at a time.
